The award-winning Lanserhof in Lans, Tyrol is unveiling its first sister property – Lanserhof Tegernsee. On 2 January, the new lakeside resort for health and well-being located in the German Alps will open its doors.
With views over the Tegernsee lake valley, the resort's geographical situation alone is extraordinary. Then there's the architecture. Designed by Ingenhoven Architects, 70 guest rooms and a 500-sq-m treatment centre make up the heart of this refuge for relaxation and rejuvenation. Here, the focus is on simplicity, featuring pared-down forms, natural materials and as much natural light as possible.
Renowned landscaper Enzo Enea created the unique garden design, providing the perfect environment for the Lans Med Concept based on Modern Mayr Medicine and the latest medical know-how. Dr. Benedetto-Reisch and her team consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, masseurs, dermatologists, mental coaches and trainers administer individualised programmes for detoxification, cleansing and de-acidification – an increasingly popular holistic health concept that helps the body to recuperate from daily stresses and start anew
A major part of this rejuvenation lies with the resort's so-called ‘Energy-Cuisine’, a nutritional programme with a philosophy of supporting vitality, performance and power. Overseen by chef Maximilian Jägerresh, the plan relies on fresh, organic products from the region.
What's more, the idyllic setting is perfect for Nordic walking and skiing in winter, and in summer, hiking, sailing, climbing, mountain biking and an 18-hole golf course offer pleasant diversion for body and mind.
